CBI questioned the motives behind passing GOs, when he was the revenue minister, allocating land to several projects including VANPIC.[1] In August 2012, CBI filed a chargesheet naming Dharmana as accused number 5, along with Jagan Mohan Reddy, Nimmagadda Prasad, Mopidevi Venkataramana and others. In the chargesheet it alleged quid pro quo among the accused.[5] Following the chargesheet, Dharmana has resigned from cabinet ministry. But the then Chief Minister Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy has not accepted the resignation. However, Dharmana has since stayed away from the cabinet meetings.[2] In January 2013, a CBI court has permitted the prosecution of the case. Minister For - Labour - Employment - Training - Factories Gummanur Jayaram (born 16 October 1968) is an Indian politician from Telugu Desam Party and formerly a member of YSR Party and Minister of Labour, Employment, Training, Factories in the Government of Andhra Pradesh.[1][2][3][4] He was elected as a Member of the AP Legislative Assembly (India) (MLA) representing Alur (Assembly constituency) in both the 2014 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election and 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections. Political career 2019 Election In 2019 election, Jayaram contested again as MLA representing YSRCP from Alur against Kotla Sujathamma from TDP. He won with total votes of 107,101 with 161 Postal and 106940 General representing 56%.[5] With a statewide majority by the YSRCP, they formed the state government headed by Jagan Mohan Reddy as CM, and Jayaram was chosen as Minister of Labour, Employment, Training, Factories in Jagan's cabinet. 2024 Election Jayaram was fired from his ministry as he joined hands with Telugu Desam Party without resigning his post.[6][7] He remains the only minister to be fired from his position in the history of bifurcated Andhra Pradesh. Minister For Housing Jogi Ramesh is an Indian politician from the state of Andhra Pradesh. He is a former Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA). He represented Pedana Constituency from 2019 to 2024 and on 11 April 2022 sworn in as the Minister in the Andhra Pradesh cabinet.[1][2][3] Early life Jogi Ramesh was born in 1970 in Ibrahimpatnam, Krishna district (now NTR district) to Jogi Mohan Rao and Pushpavati. He has completed BSc from National College, Acharya Nagarjuna University in 1989. Jogi Ramesh is a member of the Goud but converted to Christianity.[3][4] Political career Jogi Ramesh was active in politics in the Youth Congress wing from college days. He served as the President of Krishna district Youth Congress, Railway Board member, Satavahana RTC Regional Zonal Chairman. Jogi Ramesh contested as a Congress candidate from Pedana in 2009 Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections and won against the Telugu Desam Party candidate Kagitha Venkat Rao for the first time as an MLA with a majority of 1,192 votes.[5][6] He later joined the YSR Congress Party in 2013, and served as the State Spokesperson for the Party. He served as Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from 2014-2019 and as an Irrigation minister in N. T. Rama Rao cabinet from 1985-1987. Also he worked in the cabinet of Tanguturi Anjaiah. Murthy was elected to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly five times from Dhone constituency, one time from Pattikonda constituency and to the Lok Sabha for one term from Kurnool constituency. Early life and education Krishna Murthy was born in Kambalapadu, Kurnool district. His father K. E. Madanna is a freedom fighter. His mother's name is K. E. Madamma. His son K. E. Shyam Babu won the 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from Pattikonda Assembly constituency representing Telugu Desam Party. He has two younger brothers K. E. Prabhakar and K. E.
