Bhuma Akhila Priya (born 2 April 1987)[1] is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh. She is the former Tourism and Culture minister of Andhra Pradesh. She is currently the member of legislative assembly (MLA) from Allagadda assembly constituency (Telugu Desam Party). Early life Akhila Priya was born to Bhuma Nagi Reddy and Shobha Nagi Reddy in Allagadda, Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh.[2] She is the eldest of three children. In 2014, she had to contest the Allagadda by-election which fell vacant due to the death of her mother in a road accident.[3][4] She was unanimously elected representing the YSR Congress Party. Chintakayala Ayyanna Patrudu (born 4 September 1957) is an Indian politician from Andhra Pradesh. He is a seven time MLA from Narsipatnam Assembly constituency.[9] He is serving as the current speaker of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly from 2024.[10] He won the Narsipatnam seat in the 2024 Assembly election.[11] Early life and education Patrudu was born in Velama family[12][13] at Narsipatnam in the erstwhile Visakhapatnam district. He did his bachelor's degree in arts from PR Government College, Kakinada, in 1978. Career He started his political journey as a member of Telugu Desam Party and was first elected as an MLA in 1983. He won the 1983 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election representing Telugu Desam party from Narsipatnam Assembly constituency. He was elected for the second time in 1985 election but lost the next election in 1989 to Krishnamurthyraju Raja Sagi of Indian National Congress. He is the incumbent Member of Legislative Assembly from Visakhapatnam West Assembly constituency. He is a member of the Telugu Desam Party. Early life He was born in Gopalapatnam, Visakhapatnam District. His father is P.Appala Narasimham, who is a former M.P. for Anakapalle, MLA Pendurthi Assembly constituency and a founding member of the Telugu Desam Party. After a stint in sports, Gana Babu worked as an employee of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant briefly before entering politics. Sports career He is an international volleyball player and represented the country on multiple occasions. He lost that election by 9,300 votes to the Congress candidate Perni Venkataramaiah. Kolusu Parthasarathy Yadav (born 18 April 1965) is an Indian politician. He is currently serving as the cabinet minister in the Government of Andhra Pradesh. He represents the Telugu Desam Party from Nuzvid Assembly Constituency, Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. He was elected to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly for four terms, in 2004, 2009, 2019 and 2024. Elected first in 2004 from the Vuyyur Constituency, and then in 2009 and 2019 elected from the Penamaluru Constituency. Parthasarathy joined Telugu Desam Party prior to 2024 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election.[1][2] He served as Minister for Animal Husbandry, Dairy Development, Fisheries and Veterinary University in the cabinet of Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy. Pardha Saradhy was allotted the portfolio of Secondary Education, Govt.Examinations, and Intermediate Education. Residential Educational Institutions Society, Hyderabad Public School and Intermediate Education. He was the last Minister for Secondary Education for united Andhra Pradesh.[4] When INC divided AP into Andhra Pradesh and Telangana he resigned from the INC and played a major role in Samaikyandhra movement in Krishan District leaders. In 2014 Parthasarathy joined YSR Congress Party.[5] He left Penamaluru and he lost the race for the Machilipatnam Constituency in 2014. He is the working president of YSR Congress Party for Krishna District. Sarathy was fighting for Special Status for A.P. He brought all parties leaders of Krishna District onto one platform on the issue of Special Status. In the 2019 general election he contested as Member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly for Penamaluru and he won with majority of 11,317 over the incumbent Bode Prasad.[6] Achievements He was elected as an MLA for the first time in 2004 elections from Vuyyur Assembly Constituency, he is the last MLA for Vuyyur.
