Dharmapuri Arvind (born 25 August 1976) is an Indian politician, philanthropist, and former Ranji Trophy cricketer.[2] He is currently serving as the member of parliament in the Lok Sabha from Nizamabad, Telangana.[3] He is the youngest of two sons of D. Srinivas who served as a Cabinet Minister under 4 Chief Ministers in United Andhra Pradesh.[4] Early life and education Arvind Dharmapuri was born on 25 August 1976 at Korutla into a prominent political family in Telangana. His grandfather, Dharmapuri Venkatram, was a Jan Sangh district vice-president. His father, D. Srinivas, was a four-time legislator, a former Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee President,[5] and a Rajya Sabha Member. [6] Arvind hails from the Munnuru Kapu community, categorized as Other Backward Class (OBC) in Telangana.[7] Arvind completed his Master’s in Political Science from Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth.[8] Career Cricket Arvind represented Hyderabad in the Ranji Trophy Ranji Trophy,[9] and participated in Under-19, Under-21, Under-23, and Under-25 tournaments. He played the Moin-ud-Dowlah Gold Cup Tournament and represented South India Under-19 as an Opening Batsman.[10] Political Arvind began his political career by joining the BJP in September 2017[11] and in 2019 contested as a BJP candidate from Nizamabad in the Lok Sabha elections.[12] He defeated former TRS MP K. Kavitha, the daughter of Telangana Chief Minister, K. Chandrashekar Rao[13] while defeating world record 184 candidates from Nizamabad Lok Sabha Constituency.[14][15][16] He was re-elected in 2024, defeating Congress veteran and former State Minister T. Jeevan Reddy, who is also a seven-time legislator. In 2022, Arvind was included in the core committee of BJP Videsh Vibhag. Arvind played a crucial role in establishing the National Turmeric Board, fulfilling a 40-year-old demand of Telangana’s farmers.[17] In October 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the formation of the Board. [18] Before the National Turmeric Board was formed, he also contributed to the establishment of a Regional Centre of the Spices Board in 2020.[19] Philanthropy In 2013, Arvind founded the Arvind Dharmapuri Foundation (ADF)[20] to support critically ill children from underprivileged families. The foundation has saved the lives of over 170 children under 12 years of age.[21] Additionally, the ADF operates a Welfare Fund for BJP Booth Level Committee Members in Nizamabad.[22] Personal life Arvind comes from a family with a notable political legacy. Bandi Sanjay Kumar (born 11 July 1971) is an Indian politician who is appointed Minister of State for Home Affairs. He is a Member of the Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India, representing the Karimnagar constituency since 2019. He is the former state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Telangana from 11 March 2020 to 4 July 2023.[1] He is All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bibinagar board member.[2] He was named as National General Secretary on 29 July 2023 by the BJP National President.[3] Early life and education Bandi Sanjay Kumar was born on 11 July 1971 to B. Narsayya and B. Sakuntala.[4] He completed his secondary schooling at Sri Saraswathi Shishumandir Unnata paathashaala, in Karimnagar, in 1986. He was also active in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh as a youth, joining the organization at the age of twelve.[5] Political career Kumar was involved with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad,[6] eventually became town president and a state executive member of the organization. He also occupied leadership positions in this organization, becoming "town secretary, town president, national secretary of Kerala and incharge of Tamil Nadu."[5] In 1996, during BJP leader LK Advani's Surat Rath Yatra, he campaigned across India for 35 days.[7] Kumar was elected a municipal corporator for Karimnagar's 48th division in 2005, and served in this role until his resignation in 2019, when he was elected to the Lok Sabha.[8] He was also fielded by the BJP in 2014 and 2018 as its candidate for the state assembly elections; he contested the Karimnagar seat both times. He was, however, unsuccessful in both elections, and lost to the Bharat Rashtra Samiti's Gangula Kamalakar.[9] In the 2019 Indian general election, Kumar was fielded by the BJP from the Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency. He contested against the incumbent Member of Parliament, the Bharat Rashtra Samiti's B. Vinod Kumar, and the Indian National Congress' Ponnam Prabhakar.[9][10] He was elected by a margin of 89,508 votes.[11] His election was considered something of a surprise due to the BJP's prior lack of significant strength in Telangana,[12] as well as the fact that both his major opponents were politically well-established.[9] With his election to the Lok Sabha, Bandi became one of four Bharatiya Janata Party MPs from Telangana, a historic first for the party.[13][9] On 4 July 2023, Kumar stepped down as Telangana party president, and on 21 July he was replaced by G. Kishan Reddy.[14] On July 30, 2023, Kumar was announced as National General Secretary for BJP,[15] and on 4 August 2023 he took up the post.[16] He was appointed Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs on 9 June 2024.[17] In August 2025, five farmers were trapped in the middle of the Maneru stream near Gambhiraopet in Rajanna Sircilla district while grazing cattle. Kumar contacted Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and requested immediate assistance. Following his intervention, two Indian Air Force helicopters were deployed, and the farmers were successfully airlifted to safety. The families of the rescued individuals expressed relief and gratitude.[18] Exam paper leak case In April 2023, Kumar and three others were arrested on charges of being involved in the question paper leak case of Telangana State Board's class ten examinations.[19][20] On the day of his arrest, the police shared a few of the WhatsApp chats shared between accused 1 (Kumar) and accused 2 (Prashant), in the case.[20] The Warangal Police Commissioner said : "Bandi Sanjay's phone is missing but we will retrieve WhatsApp messages and conversations very soon. They have deleted a few messages, call logs/call data, we will retrieve all those details."[20] On 7 April, Kumar was released on bail. In a statement on his release, he accused the police of incompetence, and demanded a judicial probe into the paper leak.[21] BJP national president J. P. Nadda and national general secretary Tarun Chugh said that Kumar's arrest was part of a conspiracy to defame the BJP for the SSC paper leak.[22] On 21 November 2025 the Telangana High Court quashed the FIR against him, saying Kumar had no direct links to the paper leak.[23] Family In January 2023 Kumar's son Bandi Bhageerath had multiple charges registered against him for beating up a fellow student in his college.[24][25] In March 2023, the Telangana High Court issued a stay of Bandi Bhageerath's suspension from college, and the student whom he had attacked said that he had forgiven Kumar's son over the incident.[26] He has a pending criminal case related to a crime against women. Kadiyam Kavya is an Indian politician and the elected candidate for Lok Sabha from Warangal Lok Sabha constituency.[1] She is the daughter of senior politician Kadiyam Srihari[2][3] Political career Kavya was inspired by her father Kadiyam Srihari's political legacy and she was active in public life for years through her charitable organisation Kadiyam Foundation.[4] The BRS had nominated Kavya to contest from Warangal Lok Sabha seat, replacing the sitting MP Pasunuri Dayakar in 2024 Lok Sabha polls. After announcing her candidature she has decided to withdraw from the contest.[5] Kadiyam Kavya later joined the Congress party on March 31 in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and AICC in-charge Deepa Dasmunshi.[6] The AICC's Central Election Committee (CEC) announced the candidature of Kadiyam Kavya on 1 April. Etela Rajender (born 20 March 1964) is an Indian politician from Telangana serving as the Member of Parliament from Malkajgiri Lok Sabha constituency. He previously served as the first Finance Minister of Telangana from 2014 to 2018 and as the Health Minister of Telangana from 2019 to 2021. He is a member of Bharatiya Janata Party since 2021. Rajender represented Kamalapur Assembly constituency from 2004 to 2010 and Huzurabad Assembly constituency from 2010 to 2023 in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and Telangana Legislative Assembly. He was a member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party until 2021, when he joined Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Political career Rajender joined TRS in 2003.[3] He is recognised as a student leader with a left-wing ideology.[4] He was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Kamalapur Assembly constituency in the 2004 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. He defeated the incumbent MLA Muddasani Damodar Reddy.[5] He served as the TRS floor leader in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly.[6] He resigned as the MLA in 2008 and was re-elected as an MLA from the same constituency in the 2008 by-election.[5][7] In 2009, the Kamalapur constituency was merged with Huzurabad Assembly constituency. He contested the 2009 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from Huzurabad constituency and won. In 2010 he resigned as the MLA and won the by-election.[5] When Telangana state was established in 2014, he was appointed the Finance Minister of Telangana in the first K. Chandrashekar Rao ministry, and served until 2018.[8] He contested the 2018 Telangana Legislative Assembly election and was re-elected as the MLA from Huzurabad constituency. In 2019, he took oath as the Minister of Health for Telangana.[9] As part of the 2018 election's declaration of assets by contestants, he has furnished ₹42.41 crore (equivalent to ₹57 crore or US$5.9 million in 2023) in assets and was the richest among other ministers.[10] In May 2021, Rajender, along with his followers and Jamuna Hatcheries, faced allegations of land encroachments in Achampet and Hakimpet villages in Medak district.[4][11] His ministerial portfolio was removed and he was subsequently dismissed from the state cabinet.[4][12] Subsequently, on 4 June, he resigned from TRS.[13] On 12 June, he resigned as MLA.[14] On 14 June 2021, Rajender joined the BJP in the presence of BJP leaders Dharmendra Pradhan and G. Kishan Reddy.[15][11] He has also resigned as the president of Nampally Exhibition Society, which he held since 2014.[16] He contested the by-election held later that year and won as the MLA.[17] In 2023 assembly elections, he contested from Huzurabad and Gazwel as BJP candidate and lost in both places to BRS candidates.[18][19] In 2024 Loksabha elections he contested from Malkajgiri and won as MP with a huge margin of 3,91,475 votes against Congress's Patnam Sunitha Mahender Reddy.[20][21] Etela Rajender topped with raising 80 questions as Lok Sabha member from Telangana in participating in debates during the Parliament sessions between 24 June 2024 to 4 April 2025. Personal life Etela was born on 20 March 1964 into a Mudiraju family in Kamalapur, Hanumakonda district of present-day Telangana. His father, Sri Mallaiah ( or Pedda Mallaiah ) , was a respected figure who passed away in August 2022. [23][24][13] He has studied B.Sc. from Osmania University in 1984.[24] He married Jamuna, who owns Jamuna Hatcheries. They have two children, Nithin Rajender (son) and Neeta Rajender (daughter) .

Shetkar Suresh Kumar Shivrao (born 8 August 1960) is an Indian politician and a member of the 15th Lok Sabha. He is elected as the Senior Vice President of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee in 2021[1][2] He belongs to the Indian National Congress political party and he represented Zahirabad constituency in Telangana.[3] Suresh Shetkar was a Member of legislative assembly from Narayankhed constituency from 2004 to 2009.[4][5][6] He has been serving as Vice President since 2021 within the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee and is currently 18th Lok Sabha member from Zahirabad Lok Sabha Constituency Telangana.[7][8] Early life Suresh Shetkar was born in Naranyankhed, Medak to Shivrao Shetkar, a freedom fighter and three-time MLA and Chandramma. He did his B.Sc.
